The world certainly took notice of the Palisade Hybrid when it debuted last model year. With all the alluring attributes of the conventional gas-only Palisade, which was introduced in 2019, the gas-electric edition of Hyundai’s flagship SUV has earned accolades as prestigious as Edmunds declaring it “The Best of the Best” for its superlative quality. Now in its sophomore year, the Palisade Hybrid has added a trim level, the elegant and mysterious Calligraphy Black Ink, which now tops the lineup with a blacked-out design theme inside and out. Among the minor changes for 2027, the SEL and SEL Premium now have their steering wheels wrapped in H-Tex leatherette, and buyers of the lushly appointed Calligraphy can choose a trim-specific brown interior. Plus, the Limited can be ordered with an eight-passenger configuration that swaps the second-row captain’s chairs for a bench seat.
