IONIQ 9
Hyundai has entered the three-row electric crossover segment with the 2026 Ioniq 9, expanding its growing EV portfolio beyond the compact Ioniq 5 crossover and Ioniq 6 sedan. Manufactured at Hyundai’s new Metaplant America facility in Georgia, the Ioniq 9 offers superior range and notable performance (as quick as 4.9 seconds for a zero-to-60 mph sprint).
Built on Hyundai’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the Ioniq 9 features an aerodynamic design with a low drag coefficient. The vehicle’s 123.2-inch wheelbase – the longest of any Hyundai U.S. model – creates substantial interior space for passengers across all three rows. The exterior sports vertically oriented headlights, sculpted body panels, and Parametric Pixel lamps that have become an Ioniq family design signature.
