2025 Hyundai
TUCSON
Hyundai has shown its best-selling vehicle, the Tucson, some love with a comprehensive refresh for 2025. That means noteworthy improvements inside and out, along with enhanced technology. To start, the automaker sharpened the Tucson's exterior styling with a revised front fascia featuring a more commanding grille and an updated LED daytime running light signature. The rear also receives attention with a redesigned bumper fascia and refreshed taillights. New alloy wheel designs and a longer rear wiper blade for improved visibility round out the exterior remake.
Cabin-wise, the five-seat Tucson sees significant upgrades, including a redesigned dashboard with a new panoramic curved display that integrates an available 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an enlarged 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. The center stack has been reconfigured with additional manual controls for improved ergonomics, while the center console and door panels have been redesigned for aesthetics and functionality.
One substantial carryover is America’s Best Warranty. This class-leading coverage provides five years or 60,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper protection and a ten-year or 100,000-mile powertrain warranty. Hyundai also includes three years of complimentary standard scheduled maintenance and five years of roadside assistance.
This page covers the conventionally powered 2025 Hyundai Tucson. Be sure to look for our separate pages on the hybrid (HEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants.

Hyundai offers five versions of the 2025 Tucson: SE, SEL, SEL Convenience, XRT, and Limited. They get their power from a 187-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which forms the powertrain with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and Hyundai's HTRAC all-wheel-drive (AWD) system is available on all trims.
The EPA-estimated fuel economy for the front-wheel drive Tucson is 25 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. All-wheel drive versions return 24 mpg around town and 30 mpg on the open road. The Tucson offers 38.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, expanding to 74.8 cubic feet with the rear seats folded. The maximum towing capacity is 2,000 pounds.
Standard Features
The SE delivers a mix of essentials and amenities for convenience, such as fabric upholstery, LED headlights with auto on/off, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, sound-reducing glass for the windshield, a 4.2-inch gauge cluster, four USB ports (two per row), a dual-level cargo floor, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Upgrades are the name of the game for the SEL trim. It has dual-zone automatic climate control, a hands-free power liftgate, heated front seats, an eight-way power driver's seat, rear privacy glass, heated power side mirrors, roof rails, second-row air conditioning vents, wireless device charging, Digital Key (vehicle access via a smartphone app), and 18-inch alloy wheels. The SEL Convenience trim further elevates the Tucson with a power sunroof, H-Tex leatherette upholstery, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated power side mirrors with LED turn indicators, LED taillights, and LED ambient cabin lighting.
The XRT trim starts with the SEL’s equipment list but offers a more rugged appearance with unique front and rear fascia, a dark-chrome accented grille, black exterior accents, and exclusive 18-inch dark alloy wheels. Black H-Tex seating surfaces and a black headliner give its cabin a premium touch. At the top of the lineup, the Limited provides a luxurious experience with a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats, a driver's memory system, an eight-way power front passenger seat, a head-up display, a fingerprint scanner for infotainment access and engine start (via Bluelink), trim-specific exterior treatments, sound-reducing side window glass, and 19-inch wheels.
Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology
All 2025 Tucsons come standard with Hyundai SmartSense, a comprehensive suite of advanced safety features. This includes forward collision-avoidance assist (with pedestrian/cyclist detection and junction turning detection), lane-keeping assist, lane-following assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, adaptive cruise control, rear occupant alert, and safe exit warning. Every trim gets a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines, plus airbags, stability control, and traction control.
As the most loaded trims, the SEL Convenience and the Limited are bolstered with highway driving assist and upgraded adaptive cruise control. The Limited alone gets a blind-spot view monitor, a surround-view monitor, four side parking sensors, rear parking collision-avoidance assist, and Remote Smart Parking Assist.
Infotainment and Connectivity
A 12.3-inch touchscreen serves as the infotainment centerpiece for the 2025 Hyundai Tucson. The system includes Bluetooth, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, and multi-speaker audio. The SEL Convenience and Limited trims also have navigation and Hyundai Pay, which lets you pay for gas and parking via the infotainment screen. The Limited is the only trim that gets a Bose sound system with eight speakers. All trims include access to Hyundai's Bluelink+ connected services for features like remote start, emergency assistance, and vehicle monitoring.
