SONATA Hybrid
While the gasoline-only Sonata is in its eighth generation, the hybrid form has only been around since its sixth generation (it debuted in 2011). This venerable gas-electric sedan combines efficiency and technology to provide attention-getting fuel economy of up to 51 mpg, making it both economical and eco-friendly. In the meantime, a great-looking exterior combines with a spacious interior and Hyundai’s proven approach to value to make the Sonata Hybrid a solid choice in its class.
The 2025 Sonata Hybrid is covered by America’s Best Warranty, including five-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper protection and ten-year/100,000-mile powertrain safeguards. Owners also receive three years of standard scheduled maintenance and five years of unlimited-mileage roadside assistance. The peace of mind continues thanks to this model’s stellar safety scores, including a five-star overall rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and a Top Safety Pick designation (for the 2024 model year) from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). This page looks at the 2025 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid; the standard Sonata is covered separately.
