2021 Hyundai Venue for Sale in Fairfield, CT
The 2021 Venue, which Hyundai calls “the Urban Compact SUV,” is suited for everything from your daily commute to cruising around tight city streets. It has a confident and modern design that turns heads, with its plunging grille, wide stance, and available two-tone paint (on the Denim edition). Aside from its pleasing list of standard features, it comes with an industry-leading warranty and 3 years/36,000 miles of complimentary maintenance to cover services like oil and filter changes, routine maintenance, and tire rotations. For the 2021 model year, some previously optional features have been made standard.
Trims and Powertrain
There are three trim levels of the ’21 Venue to choose from: SE, SEL, and Denim. Under the hood of each is a 121 hp 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). All Venues are front-wheel drive. Based on EPA estimates, each trim returns 30 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.
The SE issues automatic headlights, 16-inch wheels, a 60/40 split fold-down rear seatback, dual-stage cargo storage, a stowable rear luggage shelf, and a rearview camera. The SEL gets upgraded with 17-inch wheels, a chrome grille, roof rails, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a central storage box with a sliding armrest, automatic cabin temperature control, and selectable drive modes (Normal, Sport, and Snow). Heated side mirrors, a moonroof, keyless entry, push-button ignition, heated front seats, and LED headlights, taillights, and daytime running lights are all included within the optional Premium Package. Aside from the LED headlights and moonroof, the top-of-the-line Denim comes with all of the Premium Package’s add-ons (the LED headlights can be added as an option, though). It also delivers in the aesthetics department with a unique two-tone blue and white interior and exterior color scheme and seats done in a sharp combination of simulated leather and cloth.
Active Safety and Tech Features
The Hyundai SmartSense suite of advanced driver aids is included on all three trims. On the SE, this standard package includes forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, lane keeping assist, and a driver attention monitor. The SEL and Denim also get blind-spot collision warning with rear cross-traffic alert.
The base infotainment system on the SE trim is set up with an 8-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth capability for hands-free phone calls and audio streaming, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, high-definition radio, a four-speaker audio system, and a USB port. The SEL adds a six-speaker audio system and dual USB ports. An upgraded infotainment system with SiriusXM satellite radio and a navigation system is available for this trim and standard on the Denim, but on this version Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are no longer wireless: they revert to the conventional plug-in format.
