The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is made in four trims: SE Standard Range, SE, SEL, and Limited. The SE Standard Range is equipped with a single rear-axle motor delivering 149 hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. In the meantime, the RWD SE, SEL, and Limited come with a more powerful motor that generates 225 hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. There’s also an available dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) unit that boosts output to 320 hp and 446 lb.-ft. of torque.
The SE Standard Range has a 53-kWh battery and can supply up to 240 miles of range per full charge. The SE, SEL, and Limited are fitted with a larger 77.4-kWh battery, with the range differing according to the drivetrain. The RWD SE can travel up to 342 miles, while the AWD variant is good for 316 miles. With the RWD versions of the SEL and Limited, range caps at 291 miles, or 270 miles with AWD.
The Ioniq 6 supports multiple charging options for optimal flexibility. Ultra-fast DC charging can replenish the battery from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes, while a 240-volt home outlet provides a full charge overnight, taking approximately seven hours. Regenerative braking, which captures and converts kinetic energy into electricity to extend range, is a standard feature on every trim.
The SE Standard Range has a long list of standard features, including proximity keyless entry, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, push-button start, cloth seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, multiple USB-C ports, hands-free trunk access, automatic LED headlights, heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators, and manually retracting flush door handles. The SE adds to the sophistication with heated front seats and auto-retracting door handles.
The SEL delivers further refinement with leatherette upholstery, wireless phone charging, Digital Key 2, two-color ambient lighting, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink. The Limited offers the highest level of luxury, bundling ventilated front seats with position memory for the driver, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, a panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing windshield wipers, power-folding side mirrors, and gloss-black exterior accents. It also features a vehicle-to-load (V2L) charging system, allowing you to charge various devices both inside and outside the vehicle.
Hyundai’s SmartSense safety suite provides comprehensive driver-assistance features across all trims. Those technologies consist of forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, blind-spot collision warning, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, front and rear parking sensors, lane keeping and following assist, speed limit assist, driver attention warning, safe exit warning, adaptive cruise control, highway driving assist, automatic high beams, and rear occupant alert.
The SEL provides enhanced safety with blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, forward collision-avoidance assist with junction-turning detection, and upgraded highway driving assist. The Limited goes even further, adding Remote Smart Parking Assist, a surround-view camera, a blind-spot view monitor, and side parking sensors.
Every 2025 Ioniq 6 comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that includes integrated navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD Radio, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming. While the SE Standard Range, SE, and SEL have a more basic audio setup, the Limited heightens the listening experience with a top-shelf Bose system.
