The 2025 Hyundai Ioniq offers a blend of utility, technology, and comfort alongside its most outstanding attribute: efficient driving that’s free of emissions. With a range as high as 318 miles on a single charge, it eliminates the anxiety felt by drivers of EVs with lower standard range. It’s also Hyundai’s first model that’s equipped with a Tesla Supercharger-compatible NACS port, opening up access to a vast nationwide network of DC ultra-fast charging stations, which can charge the Ioniq 5 from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 20 minutes. The 2025 Ioniq 5 is powerful as well, with all-wheel-drive (AWD) versions making 446 lb.-ft. of torque. Even the base trim is well equipped, getting an extensive standard package of driver-assist technology, plus comfort features such as heated front seats and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat.

The 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is offered in five trim levels: the SE Standard Range, SE, SEL, XRT, and Limited. The standard powertrain pairs a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a lithium-ion battery that recharges in 5 hours and 40 minutes for the SE, and 7 hours and 20 minutes for the higher trims. The SE Standard Range is made only with a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) powertrain, providing 258 lb.-ft. of torque and an estimated range of 254 miles. The SE, SE, and Limited offer an estimated 318 miles of range with the standard RWD powertrain. They’re all eligible for dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD), which increases torque to 446 lb.-ft. but drops the range to 269 for the Limited and 290 miles for the other two. Dual-motor AWD is standard on the XRT, which has an estimated range of 259 miles.
The SE Standard Range and SE come with automatic LED headlights, heated side mirrors with built-in turn signals, stain-resistant cloth seats, an 8-way power driver seat with power lumbar support, a 6-way manual passenger seat, heated front seats, passenger-side seatback pockets, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The Limited returns to the conventional (not blacked out) exterior treatment and adds front accent lighting, power lumbar support and ventilation on both front seats, an integrated memory system and relaxation function for the driver’s seat, a premium head-up display, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a digital rear-view mirror with HomeLink, added driver seatback pockets, silver-toned bumpers and body cladding, premium side sills, rear-window sunshades, gloss-black exterior accents, ambient 64-color lighting, and a vision roof consisting of one large glass panel.

It consists of blind-spot collision warning, forward collision-avoidance assist with car/pedestrian/cyclist detection and junction turning, highway driving assist, and rear occupant alert. The SEL and above are upgraded with blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, forward collision-avoidance assist with junction turning/crossing, lane-change oncoming/side, and evasive steering assist, enhanced highway driving assist, and advanced rear occupant alert.
