2023 Hyundai Palisade Preview for Sale in Fairfield, CT

Overview
Although Hyundai’s highly favored Palisade has just been around since model year 2020, the automaker isn’t being complacent: they’ve already refreshed it with a new look and added features for 2023. This updated version of the award-winning midsized utility vehicle, which has been wildly popular with families, was revealed in April at the 2022 New York International Auto Show. It shows off a daring new look that’s more squared off than before, with plenty of enhanced equipment inside and out. Here’s what we’ve learned about the changes that are coming with this refresh.
Aesthetic Changes
The daring façade of the 2023 Hyundai Palisade is dominated by a wide grille with parametric shield detailing and large LED headlights and daytime running lights, with elongated LED taillights and a skid plate in the back. There’s a lot of glass, including a panoramic rear window that lends a nice, open feel to the third row. To further the updated status, Hyundai has freshened up the wheel designs and upholstery choices. The XRT trim – a new addition this time around – is especially aggressive-looking, with blacked-out exterior treatments.
The interior is not just well appointed, it’s also set up for the ultimate level of comfort, thanks in large part to the Ergo-motion driver’s seat (with available massage feature!) and wing-out headrests on the second-row seats. Heated and ventilated seats are available, with the heat feature even offered for the third row. Even the steering wheel has been revamped as part of this model refresh.
Tech Upgrades
The instrument panel has been redone with ambient lighting and modern sharpness, and the available digital rearview mirror offers a generously sized display. On the connectivity front, the infotainment touchscreen has improved resolution, and state-of-the-art dynamic voice recognition will allow you to control not just the infotainment features but accessories such as the air conditioning and power tailgate. Plus, the wireless phone charger has three times the wattage as before, leading to faster juicing of your devices. On that note, there will be an ample number of fast-charging USB-C ports.
Driver-Assist Technology
Hyundai SmartSense, the proprietary package of active safety features, will come standard on every ’23 Palisade, with the more expensive trims, namely the fully outfitted Calligraphy, receiving more than the lower ones. Those safety-enhancing technologies will include smart cruise control with curve control, high beam assist, forward collision-avoidance assist, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, safe exit assist, driver attention warning, lane following assist, highway driving assist, and reverse parking collision-avoidance assist. The exciting self-parking mode known as Remote Smart Parking Assist, which doesn’t even require the driver to be in the vehicle, will also be available on the updated Palisade.
