2022 Hyundai Palisade for Sale in Fairfield, CT
Overview
There are several things today’s drivers hold in high regard when shopping for a new vehicle: such as style, performance, practicality, and comfort, for instance. Not too long ago, it was hard to find all of these traits in a non-luxury vehicle, but when the Hyundai Palisade arrived in 2020, it changed the game forever. All of those highly desirable attributes are obvious in this three-row SUV – at an affordable price to boot.
For 2022, the Palisade is even more attractive since its base trim level (the SE) now comes with more standard safety features: blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit assist, and side mirrors with built-in turn-signal indicators. It also retains Hyundai’s industry-leading warranty coverage and 3-year/36,000-mile complimentary maintenance plan, which takes care of oil changes, tire rotations, and multipoint inspections.

Powertrain and Fuel Economy
The 2022 Hyundai Palisade can be ordered in SE, SEL, Limited, and Calligraphy trim levels, all of which have a 3.8-liter V6 engine that whisks out 291 hp and 262 lb.-ft. of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is linked to this powerplant; front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional. With trailer brakes, the maximum towing capacity is 5,000 pounds, regardless of trim level; without trailer brakes, the towing capacity is capped at 1,650 lb. The EPA has rated the FWD Palisade to return 19 mpg around town and 26 mpg on the highway; with AWD that changes to 19 city/24 highway.

Trims
SE
The eight-passenger SE presents a mix of basic equipment and above-average amenities. It gets cloth upholstery, a tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, a 12-volt power outlet, and multiple USB ports along with automatic LED headlights and heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators, two things that aren’t that common in entry-level trims. The SE also comes with trailer pre-wiring and a medley of convenient interior storage solutions.
The SE’s infotainment system has an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming. Several active safety features are standard through the Hyundai SmartSense suite: blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, rear parking sensors, rear occupant alert, forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane following assist, lane keeping assist, driver attention warning, and safe exit assist.
SEL
The SEL adds some more premium provisions, like a sunroof, roof rails, keyless entry, keyless ignition, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a HomeLink universal garage door opener, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. What’s more, the SEL’s driver’s seat is power adjustable, and its front seats are heated. The second-row bench seat has also been replaced by a pair of captain’s chairs, raising the comfort factor for those passengers while reducing capacity to seven.
The optional Convenience Package will add 20-inch wheels, an auto-leveling suspension, LED taillights, front parking sensors, a hands-free liftgate, a 7-inch high-resolution instrument cluster, rear side-window sunshades, a wireless phone charger, third-row USB ports, and a 115-volt power outlet. Another available bundle, the Premium Package, delivers leather upholstery, a power front passenger’s seat, memory settings for the driver’s seat and side mirrors, heated second-row seats, power third-row seating, a heated steering wheel, a 10.25-inch touchscreen with navigation, highway driving assist (augments the adaptive cruise control system), SiriusXM satellite radio, an in-car PA system, and Bluelink connected car services.
Limited
The Limited makes all the contents from the Convenience and Premium packages standard, along with rain-sensing wipers, a dual-panel sunroof, Nappa leather seats, a driver’s seat leg-cushion extender, ventilation for the front and second-row seats, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a surround-view camera, a head-up display, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with a blind-spot view monitor, and ambient interior lighting.
Calligraphy
The Calligraphy embraces the full spectrum of luxury, with quilted leather door panels, a perforated leather-wrapped steering wheel, side mirror approach lights, premium rear accent lights and exterior trim, front and rear skid plates, and a protective cargo sill plate.
